With the recent much needed rain in Los Angeles, we added more indoor activity: spool dethreading.
This guy took great pleasure exploring the thread as clothing. His intricate web raised concern once his weave encircled his neck. For the record, no children were hurt in the dethreading of these spools.

I am so looking forward to seeing what kind of project you come up with for the wonderful wooden spools! I had been saving some and just received a whole bag more from my boy friend's mother over the weekend. I know that there is something brilliant to do with them, either with or without the thread - I just haven't come up with the right thing. I will be staying tuned to see what you guys figure out!
