We harvested the last of our
fava beans the other day. I shucked the beans and since it is so dry here right now, I set them on this strainer overnight to dry. It took 2 nights and a day, then they were ready to store. It's only about a cup and a half of beans. Maybe we'll grind the dried beans and try them in place of chick pea flour.
I
also saved some whole beans for replanting next year. I don't think this will be nearly enough though. If the flour turns out to be good we'll probably plant many more
fava beans next year.
Do post recipes on what one does with bean flours!
