This weekend, the boys and I went to a Pasadena Open Space fair. A group of neighbors are working to designate an undeveloped hillside as Open Space. Check out neighbor Joan Dooley's pasadenaopenspace.blogspot.com for details.
At the fair, the Eaton Canyon Nature Center had set up an outreach booth. Student Naturalist John Garrett shared this gopher snake with my sons.
