    I found instructions online for making a top bar hive and have decided that when the time comes, that's what I'm going to do. Might have two.

    Yes, sdboltfanatic, when the bee stings you on the head, it can cause quite a headache.

    Paula, you should join the Backwards Beekeepers yahoo group. It's a great way to learn about beekeeping without using chemicals. And it doesn't matter where you live. People from all over the country join.
