New growth.In October, Eric cut back some of our California native Pozo Blue sage in the lower yard. In a mere month, the sage is bursting with new growth.

The sage in November. Far right is a California bush sunflower (Encelia californica) With the new growth is a resurgence of the delicious scent that often stops me in my tracks and gives yet another reason to linger in the yard.
