Exquisite Lizard Corpse


Found in an old pot in our garden tool shack. Dessicated. Tiny. About three inches long including tail. Tragic yet beautiful.

    I used to happen on anole corpses in the house all the time when I lived in Florida. It always made me feel bad.

    I felt a great deal of compassion upon finding this tiny carrion and thinking about the fatal misstep that brought it to the bottom of a pot with no escape.
