In cleaning out a catch all drawer, I found this little treasure. The box had long held an assortment of sewing needles and thread. I never knew that it was originally a box for compazine (registered trademark) brand of prochloperazine..."When vomiting must be stopped". I wonder how long it took the ad copy team to come up with that one?

Neat factoid about compazine: a small percentage of the population will have a psychotic reaction to compazine - meaning they will go sort of crazy and get rather angry. I found this out the hard way myself when I went to the hospital with a migraine years ago and they gave me compazine. I can't say if it helped the nausea as I was too busy being insane for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteGina, I only hope the insanity unleashed the greatness in you...and the compazine stopped the vomiting. Migraines suck...in a big way. Sorry you had to journey down that path.
